We (humans) store and record events of this life time and previous life times in the form of core beliefs that are stored on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels.

The levels are:

1) Core Level: This is the subconscious.  Core beliefs at this level are created by everything that we have seen and heard from the womb (from the point that we have ears that can hear) until the present moment.  Subconscious (Core) beliefs can also be created by "self talk".  Self talk is what we think and say out loud like "Life sucks." or " I don't have enough money." If you consciously think and say enough then you create a negative core belief and right now the Earth's energy REALLY supports manifestation of those thoughts.  So, if you think life sucks or that you don't have enough money then life will suck and you will be broke.

2) Genetic Level: These are the strongly held subconscious and consciously held beliefs of your ancestors (blood lines).  The energy of these beliefs then gets stored in every fiber of their being because it gets stored in the morphogenic field of every cell of their body.  Then lucky you, you get the energy of those beliefs transferred to you simply by being in the same genetic lineage.

3) History Level:  This is a level where you hold core beliefs as the result of a gain or loss of soul fragments in this life time or a past life.  If something horrible happened to you in this life time or a past life then you gained someone else's soul fragments and lost some of yours.  Your lost soul fragments are left with that person and/or the location where the traumatic event occurred.  You can also gain or lose soul fragments from an emotionally charged exchange of DNA like sex, kissing or someone spitting in your face.  Your soul fragments and the soul fragments of others are pulled, washed, cleansed and given back to their rightful owner.

4) Soul Level:  This the level where you are down here on Earth to work on certain issues.  While you were in spirit form and at one with God you chose certain issues that you wanted to work on to promote spiritual growth.  Or, a core belief on one of the other levels is so strongly held that it has affected your soul.  Consequently, you get a soul level healing when negative core beliefs are worked dealt with on this level.
